E’ un negozio di tecnologie solari per l’edilizia di Bologna che si trova qui e con grande intuito ha voluto diversificare la sua offerta, comprando la licenza della ditta tedesca SOL EXPERT di Ravensburg (esatto…quella dei mitici puzzle), allargando così il catalogo con giochi didattici, esperimenti scientifici e oggetti da tavolo.

It’s a store of solar technologies for construction located in Bologna (ITALY) and with a great intuition, they wanted to diversify their offering by buying the license of SOL EXPERT by Ravensburg from German (yes ... that’s means the legendary puzzle), thereby enlarging the catalog with educational games, scientific experiments and nice items.

All games are powered by a small solar panel that supplies power to a miniature electric and quiet motor, and the objective is to approach the children by an intelligent and playful way, to a new green technologies.

You can find cute hydrogen car, little wind generators, solar rides etc. but in addition to games for kids, you can also find some funny ideas for eco-business gadget, eco-gifts for Christmas and even for some eco-wedding gifts that can be customized according to customer's request.

In addition to their “solar games”, the company imports from Germany also the toys called Smokers, who despite their name, represent wood-Christmas item (but not only ... also arts and crafts) and exhale from the mouth or cup, the scent of your light incense and that you can place in the belly of the toy.

In relazione la mio post NO SWAP…NO PARTY….devo fare una piccola e dovuta precisazione per quanto riguarda il negozio I LOVE SHOPPING di Bologna: non è un negozio Swap, ma è un boutique tradizionale, con la caratteristica di avere solo nomi e collezioni di stilisti che derivano dalla costante e appassionata ricerca della titolare.

Oltre a girare il mondo in cerca di nuovi nomi e di nuove tendenze, Tamara Nocco si occupa di organizzazione a livello world wide di swap Party (qs è il sito www.iloveshopping.bo.it/swap/ per le swap addicted).

As my post about NO SWAP…NO PARTY I have to do a little clarification regarding I LOVE SHOPPING based in Bologna: it is not a swap shop, but it is a traditional store, with the characteristic that have only names and collections of fashion designers that arrive from the constant and passionate research of the owner.

NO SWAP...NO PARTY

TO SWAP significa letteralmente “scambiare, barattare” ed è l’ultimissima tendenza delle fashion-victims, che consente di fare shopping a costo zero. Praticato già una decina d’anni fa negli States sotto forma di swap party, ovvero un incontro a casa tra amiche dove ci si riuniva e si scambiavano abiti e accessori sorseggiando il thè, ha pian piano preso piede anche nel resto del mondo, fino ad arrivare nelle nostre città, soprattutto a Milano, Roma e Bologna.

Nonostante il baratto sia un’antica usanza, in questo senso si è affermato un nuovo concetto di “Baratto del Terzo Millannio”, dove le tre parole d’ordine dello Swapping sono: ReUse, ReDuce e Recycle, parole che racchiudono valenze di grande attualità e che fanno rima con Ecologia.

Chi di voi non ha nell’armadio qualche vecchio capo, o qualche accessorio, meglio se griffato ma non è il requisito fondamentale, che non mette più e che sia in ottime condizioni? Ebbene, allora se volete “rinfrescare” i vostri outfit senza spendere una lira, vi consiglio di partecipare a qualche SWAP PARTY oppure di visitare qualche SWAP BOUTIQUE, dove potrete CAMBIARE il vostro modo di fare shopping, abbattendo i costi ma senza rinunciare allo stile!!!

Navigando in rete alla ricerca di informazioni mi sono imbattuta nell’ SWAP URBAN PARTY organizzato e gestito dall’ATELIER DEL RICICLO di Milano, dove un calendario ricco di eventi sta riscuotendo un grosso successo.

Per quanto riguarda i negozi, funzionano come dei veri e proprio club, dove bisogna versare una quota di iscrizione che varia dai 10 ai 20 euro, e comprende la possibilità di partecipare agli eventi swap portando i proprio capi da scambiare con quelli degli altri. Prima di poterlo scambiare però, il capo viene sottoposto ad un’ accurata valutazione da parte del personale dello swap shop o da parte di una giuria scelta se si tratta di un evento. Durante la selezione, ad ogni articolo viene assegnata una votazione che va da una a cinque stelle e ogni associato ha diritto a dei “buoni scambio”. Ad esempio, se portate un abito che è stato valutato tre stelle, si ha diritto ad un buono di altrettante stelle che vi permetterà di barattarlo con un altro articolo da tre stelle.

TO SWAP means "Exchange, Barter" and is thefashion-victims latest trend, which allows you to shop at 0 cost.  Already practiced 10 years ago in the USA as of swap party — a home-meeting between friends where they met and exchanged clothes and accessories drinking a cup of tea, has gradually caught in the rest of the world, in our cities also, for example in Milan, Rome and Bologna.

Although barter is an ancient custom, that effect has emerged a new concept of "Third Millennium Barter", where the three most importants words of the Swap are: Reuse, Reduce and Recycle, words that contain values topical and that rhyme with Ecology.  If you want to "refresh" your outfit without spending a "penny", I suggest you to attend some Swap Party or visit some SWAP BOUTIQUE, where you can change the way you shop, cutting costs without sacrificing style!!!

Surfing into the web looking for more information, I found out  the SWAP URBAN PARTY organized and managed by Atelier del Riciclo di Milano, where a full calendar of events is proving a big success. As for a SWAP BOUTIQUE, they're working as real club, where you pay a fee,  ranging from 10 to 20 euros, and includes the opportunity to participate in the events, leading swap the items to exchange with those of others. But before you can share, the items are  evaluated by the staff of the swap shop or by a selected jury (in the case of an event). The selection process, each item is assigned a vote that goes from one to five stars, and each member is entitled to "good trade". For example, if you wear a dress that was rated three stars, you are entitled to a bonus of many stars that will allow you to swap with another article by three stars.
